In the heart of Mechelen, just steps from the Grote Markt, you’ll find the jewellery store and goldsmith Design Helga Kordt. This beautiful boutique has been run since 1996 by Saskia Mees – daughter of artist Helga Kordt – and more recently also by her husband Pedro.
At Design Helga Kordt, you’ll discover unique handmade jewellery under the name Design Helga Kordt. All designs are created in our in-house goldsmith workshop, are artistically inspired, asymmetrical in shape, and reflect an organic style. The full Design Helga Kordt collection is made by master goldsmith Helga Kordt, who brings over 40 years of experience. Her daughter Saskia proudly continues this unique tradition with great craftsmanship and passion. In addition to our own collection, we also carry the exquisite collections of Bigli and Marco Bicego.
We specialise in handmade jewellery, unique and exclusive designs, gold watches, wedding rings, and engagement rings. You can also come to us for bespoke creations, engraving (bracelets, charms, necklaces, rings), and ear piercing.
